New cooperation: Shen - AYO

This year, the French "AYO" (Armenian Youth Organization) decided to support one of Shen's projects. The renovation of the kindergarten of Shenavan community of Lori region was carried out with the funds raised by "AYO" with the direct participation of volunteers and Shen NGO. The French volunteers not only took an active part in the reconstruction of the kindergarten but also organized an unforgettable  3-week summer camp for local children. This was a great initiative that brought about smiles, positive emotions, and new hopes for the future after the war. The project will be complete by the end of September, giving all 25 kids living in Shenavan community an opportunity to attend a renovated, well-equipped kindergarten. The project will result in increased household incomes by allowing young mothers to start working and support their families.
