Eyeglasses for Armenia Project

On August 11^th nine specialists from the Union of Armenian doctors in France arrived in Spitak. 504 children from Spitak and 20 nearby villages have been examined. Children have been mostly diagnosed with astigmia, strabismus and amblyiopia. After the exam 326 children and 1500 elderly people from the communities were provided with necessary optical glasses.
