A new project contract signed

13.12.2016. At the end of year 2016 Shen NGO has been awarded a new project, Integrated Support for Sustainable Economic Development in Rural Mountainous Areas of Armenia financed by Pilot Regional Development Programme (PRDP) – Armenia. The new project will be carried out during two years starting from Jan 2017, project budget – 1.34 mln Euro, covering 6 villages from Gegharkunik and Syunik marzes (Pambak, Geghamasar, Areguni, Shaghat, Shaki, and Angeghakot). During the project 28 quality jobs and 74 ordinary jobs will be created.

On 13.12.2016 Regional Development Conference “Comprehensive Regional Development Programmes and Strategic Planning for the Development of Armenia’s Regions" and grant signing ceremony for regional development projects took place in Yerevan. The project contract has been signed by Contracting Authority, representative of European Commission, Dr. Piotr Antoni Świtalski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Head of Delegation, Davit Lokyan, minister of Territorial Administration and Development, and Hayk Minassian, Chairman of Board, Shen NGO.
