Participation of Cooperative of Organic Fruit Producers of Armenia at Prodexpo-2017

On Feb 6-8 two members of Cooperative of Organic Fruit Producers of Armenia organised within OASI funded “Expansion of Organic Fruit Production Through Upgrading the Organic Orchard Management and Streamlining Horticulturist Farmers into Organic Agriculture Cooperative” project and Shen NGO marketing expert participated at Prodexpo-2017, Moscow, Russia. It is the largest foodstuff trade fair being annually organised in the capital of Russia (with participation of more than 2100 exhibitors) where both Russian and foreign foodstuff producers exhibit their products and sign commercial contracts with wholesale and retail companies. Our visitors presented in its booth cooperative's organic products - fresh fruits, organic apricot concentrate and dried fruits. As a result of this event the cooperative has reached preliminary arrangements on supply of fresh and processed (dried fruit and concentrate) fruits with several major retail, processing companies and online organic food stores.
