Agricultural seminar in Vardenis

On May 23, 2017 within the framework of the project Development of Horticulture in 18 Communities of Vardenis and Vayots Dzor a theoretical and practical training session was held in Vardenis with participation of 20 lead farmers from the region. The seminar took place at Vardenis FSC. According to the workshop agenda the first (of the agriculture season) measures to combat diseases and pest in orchards using both synthetic and organic pesticides were introduced. There were also introduced new organic and synthetic plant protection products, upon which all participants received test quantities of those pesticides.
